FAQ

Doing a juice cleanse can be extremely beneficial if you are feeling sluggish, bloated, if your skin is dull or you’re looking to kick your sugar or caffeine cravings to the curb.

A juice cleanse can help your body remove the build-up of toxins which can quickly accumulate as result of our busy lifestyles, and easy access to large amounts of processed foods, caffeine, refined sugar and alcohol.

Juicing provides readily available vitamins, minerals and nutrients which can be easily absorbed by the body.  Juicing also gives your body and digestive system a much deserved break to allow its natural repairing mechanisms to kick-in.

A juicing cleanse can be a fantastic way of kick starting a new healthy lifestyle.

Remember to support your cleanse with liver support – we recommend using supplements such as chlorella, green tea, apple cider vinegar and herbs such as Milk Thistle, Holy Basil and Dandelion Root. We also recommend dry brushing of the skin, lymphatic massage and sweating (using a sauna is fun!) during a cleanse.

Our Cleanses come in a range of sizes depending on your needs, from our Juicy Fix Mini Cleanse which is perfect for those who like to juice during the day then sit down to a healthy meal in the evening.  To our Fridge Filler One Day Cleanse then to our full 3 Day Cleanse.

It is important to drink 2-3 litres of water per day on your Cleanse to avoid dehydration and headaches.

This is a personal choice, some people like to cleanse every month, every 3 months, or before or after a holiday - it’s completely up to you. We’re here whenever you need us.

In order to have the most successful and enjoyable cleanse, we advise you follow the below pre cleanse recommendations in the days prior to your cleanse;

  • Avoid alcohol
  • Increase your water intake
  • Reduce/eliminate caffeine
  • Avoid processed foods
  • Reduce/eliminate animal based products (dairy, meat, eggs etc)
  • Reduce/eliminate refined sugar

Following your cleanse, we advise you reintroduce foods slowly with a focus on a whole food, plant based diet.  This will help to continue the benefits seen from your cleanse.

Not everyone should do a juice cleanse. If you are suffering from blood sugar imbalances (pre-diabetes and diabetes) or hormonal imbalances (hypothyroid, PCOS or adrenal insufficiency) a juice cleanse is not a great idea.

If this applies to you, just try adding in a green or vegetable juice into your daily diet.

Juice cleanses are not recommended for pregnant women or people under the age of 18.

Absolutely! Adding juices to your diet while pregnant or breastfeeding is a great way to up your nutrient levels. Juices cleanses however, are not recommended while pregnant or breastfeeding.
